About Elizabeth Gibson, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Gibson is a nationally recognized business consultant, keynote speaker and best-selling author who specializes in corporate effectiveness, change and behavior for leaders and organizations. As a corporate strategy expert and licensed psychologist, she brings her clients a unique perspective on modifying business behaviors for greater profitability. Her track record for bottom-line success has been documented in a wide range of media – from Fortune magazine to the Journal of Business Strategy.

Known for her impeccable integrity and innovative solutions, Elizabeth uses strategic business psychology™ to give her clients a sustainable competitive edge. Whether she is determining the actual ROI of a company’s behavior-based leadership programs or syncing a client’s succession plans with operational projections, Elizabeth infuses science and measurability into business realms usually considered difficult to quantify. Her results have been outstanding.

Before forming Elizabeth Gibson Consulting, she was a Senior Consultant for RHR International (Wood Dale, IL), a Senior Principal with Continuous Learning Group (Pittsburgh, PA), and a Senior Executive Consultant with Leadership Worth Following (Dallas, TX). Prior to that, she worked in the Silicon Valley as Director of Education & Training for a software company, ParcPlace Systems (Mountain View, CA), and a Knowledge Engineer with Teknowledge, Inc. (Palo Alto, CA). At Teknowledge, she built Expert Systems and co-authored a book on interviewing experts and accurately capturing their unique sets of knowledge.

Elizabeth is based in beautiful Austin, Texas, where you might spot her on the Hike & Bike Trails with her lively greyhound named Cayenne. For years, Elizabeth has been a leading advocate for Greyhound Rescue groups and the Humane Society. She also has a meditation practice and admits to being a “workout junkie.”
